I have always been impressed with the service provided at Sutherland Lodge.
I tend to book appointments on line or by phoning on Monday mornings.
Obviously, with all the publicity about the NHS and patients being treated poorly by G P's A & E, etc., there are real problems in the system, but I can only comment on my own experience at Sutherland Lodge, and I cannot fault doctors and staff there.

I have been with Sutherland lodge surgery for 60 years, and several times they have saved my life with their diagnosis and referring me to hospital. For which I am truly grateful.
All members of staff are always helpful and polite.
I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for them.

This surgery is the best that I have ever belonged to. The place is always clean to a high standard and notices and information are always clearly shown. The sign in self computer is helpful as it keeps the receptionists more free to do other tasks and I like the fact that you know how many people are in front of you before you are seen. The receptionists are extremely polite, welcoming and helpful. I feel that I can approach any of them about anything I need. The nurses and doctors are amazing. I have seen over 7 different doctors and I have found them all helpful, professional and ready to give you all the time you need without trying to get rid of you and make you feel like a valid part of the public. I have never had to wait long for appointments and when booking appointments I find this easy to both get through on the phone and how helpful the receptionists are when booking the appointment. I could not ask for a better surgery and I will stay living close by as long as possible just so I can keep this amazing practice. Thank you!

I have always found, without exception, all the staff at the surgery helpful, informative and polite. I have always been able to get an appointment when I need one. I like the new booking on line system for more routine appointments, it helps that I can choose which doctor I see ensuring continuity of care.
The surgery changes with the times and develops it's services.

As you are probably aware this Practice is a training practice and has been for many years. We take pride in the fact that our staff are seen as helpful, polite and informative.
